Ken Slavin, Jazz Crooner Extraordinaire!


Ken Slavin is the number-one male jazz vocalist in San Antonio. He recently became the number-one artist on ReverbNation’s regional and national jazz charts. For 28 years, Slavin has carried the local torch for classic jazz and the Great American Songbook, while juggling performances as far away as New York City and London and producing five CDs of classic material.

This coming Thursday, April 12, he will give a free concert under the pavilion at the San Antonio Japanese Tea Garden, 6:30-9 p.m. (Food and drinks for sale. Benefiting the San Antonio Parks Foundation and presented by KRTU 91.7 San Antonio Live and Local.)

Saturday night, April 14, 5-9 p.m., he will sing with his jazz trio at a fundraiser for the Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance at the Sandy Oaks Olive Orchard in Sandy Oaks, Texas. (Tickets: https://aquiferalliance.org/event/2018-fundraiser).

Sunday, April 15, 4-8 p.m., he will share the spotlight with musicians from the San Antonio Symphony at a symphony fundraiser, "Comida y Canciones Con Amigos," at La Hacienda Scenic Loop. Coming up Wednesday, May 30, 8-10 p.m. will be a big show at Sam's Burger Joint Music Hall.
